Coos County S.T.E.P.

Many volunteer opportunities are opened to members of the South Coast Angler’s STEP Association at meetings, or listed on membership emails. If you do not want to join the organization, you can still be a volunteer by contacting ODFW at 541-888-5515. Another option is to turn in your completed Volunteer Release form to the caretaker at any of the ongoing projects all over Coos County.

The South Coast Angler’s STEP Association (formerly the Northwest Steelheaders) operates this fish hatchery. The organization is a tax exempt non-profit club hosting about eight annual meetings, often in the classroom at the site.

The membership dues are $10/year. What better way to help ensure there will be fish for generations to come?
